2025 Annual Reunion 

The 2025 Pierre Chastain Family Association (PCFA) 50th Annual Family Reunion is on! It will be held in Greenville, South Carolina at the Homewood Suites on 102 Carolina Point, Greenville, SC 29607.  

All Chastain (and all spelling variants; Chasteen, Shasteen, etc.) descendants are invited to attend, PCFA members and non-members along with other family members and friends. The reunion is a scheduled two days of socializing and discussing family connections.  A great time to visit with "cousins" from all over the country.  And, the opportunity to learn more about your Chastain ancestry, giving all a chance to ask questions about their relatives, share research, collaborate, and hopefully gain more knowledge about Chastain genealogy and family history. 

The conference will begin with a PCFA Board meeting on Thursday, October 2nd at 6pm, PCFA members are invited to attend.  Then the main festivities/activities will begin on Friday, October 3rd at 8am with registration. As usual, there will be presentations scattered throughout the day, genealogy discussions, a field trip to visit historic sites of our ancestors in the area, evening activities on Friday and Saturday with the meeting concluding after the Saturday evening meal. An agenda detailing all activities will be posted here and on social media once a few additional items have been finalized.
 

Registration Info:

We will have a small registration fee this year, $10.00 per adult (over 18) to cover the costs of the conference/meeting area. The registration fee is one-time and covers the duration of the reunion.

The registration form also contains information (2nd page) about participating in meals planned for the Field Trip on Friday (lunch) and the Saturday "Pizza Party" evening meal. 

We will be leaving the Homewood Suites hotel around 12 noon and drive to Table Rock State Park on Friday, October 3^rd.  The park is part of the property that was owned by the Chastain Family.  At the park Dennis Chastain will continue with the “history” of our family and attractions that are in the area.  While there we will have a picnic lunch with a Chick-Fil-A sandwich, chips, drink and a dessert.  The picnic lunch will cost $12 per person.

We also invite you to join us for the Pierre Chastain Family Association Reunion Banquet on the evening of Saturday, Oct 4th. This year we are going to focus more on interactions with our members and a genealogical Q & A.  This year’s banquet will consist of a Pizza Party for a price of $25 per person.  That will include appetizer, Pizza, soft drink or water, and a slice of our 50^th Anniversary cake.

If paying by check/money order, download the form, enter your information, print and mail it to Sandy, her postal address is on the form.  

If you want to pay online, please click the "Pay with PayPal" links below and on the Shopping Cart page change the quantity to the number of people for whom you are paying.  You can choose continue shopping on the PayPal Shopping Cart for each of the items below. But, don't forget to still email the registration form (or info requested) to Sandy at her email address above.

30 rooms have been reserved at the Homewood Suites, the reservation number is 864-297-9140, please reference "PCFA Conference" when making your reservations. 

Special Room Rates for the reunion:

The PCFA (Pierre Chastain Family Association) "Group" room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes of 13% in effect at the time of check-in.

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Checkout Time is 12:00pm. Early arrival/late departure will be honored based upon availability.

The "cut-off date" for reserving rooms in the Room Block is 5:00 p.m. local time at the Homewood Suites on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
